Rachel is a 36 year old real estate executive. A few years ago, she began experiencing symptoms of premenstrual and postmenstrual syndrome. Rachel, previously happy, affable and out-going, was becoming increasingly angry, fearful, and discontent. This led to the increased consumption of alcohol in an attempt to “deaden” her mounting fears. These developments placed a great strain on her relationship with others, especially with her husband. Her interest in sex had disappeared, along with her overall energy level. When her quality of sleep, mental focus and memory became casualties, she found herself experiencing depression and, at times, entertaining thoughts of suicide. Rachel sought help from a traditional therapist, and was placed on a cocktail of various advanced psych-meds, a tranquilizer, and a sleeping medication. This approach improved her situation initially, but over time her previous path of deterioration resumed. As Rachel explored other therapies, she came across a concept called Earthbound Spirit Attachment (ESA). The theory behind ESA is that under the right conditions, earthbound disincarnate spirits of the dead can attach to the living. These are the spirits of people who have previously lived on the earth, but after they die they remain, either unable or unwilling to move on to the next level of existence, or in other words, the spirit world. It has been found that these attached spirits can profoundly effect the mental, emotional, and in some cases, the physical well-being of those they infest. During ESA therapy, Rachel was found to have a total of five attached spirits, including a powerful, dominating male spirit that appeared to be the source of much of her anger, and was inducing some of her hormonal imbalance. Also found were two spirits that were alcoholics in life, a very fearful old woman, and a teenage girl who had committed suicide. Once these entities were released, and Rachel was taught how to protect herself from further attachments, she saw dramatic improvement in her condition, almost immediately.
In ninety percent of societies worldwide
there are records of spirit attachment-like phenomena. The early writings
of the Chinese, Egyptians, Hebrews, and Greeks show that they generally
attributed mental disorders to demons that had taken possession of an
individual. Demons and devils were thought of as commonplace in Babylonia
and Assyria, and in ancient Egypt, exorcisms were performed by a team: a
physician to treat the ailment and by a priest to drive out the demon of
disease.
Ignorance, Fear and Confusion: Often spirits are not aware that they have died, so when ministering spirits come to escort them to the spirit world they resist. Others resist because of an absence of belief in an afterlife, while still others remain because of false or misleading religious doctrines. Hence, a spirit may avoid crossing over because of a fear of “going to hell”. Addiction: One of the strongest ties that bind spirits to the physical world is addiction to things such as alcohol, drugs, smoking, sex, or even food. Spirit addicts tend to stalk and cluster around living addicts and the places that they frequent, attempting to experience again what was once the dominant theme of their lives. Dark Emotions: Harboring excessive anger, fear, worry, resentment, guilt, and other low vibrational emotions can motivate spirits to stay. Some may even remain in an attempt to enact vengeance upon a perceived enemy . Obsession: This includes any unhealthy preoccupation with a person, location, or activity. Some spirits refuse to leave loved ones, or those with whom they are obsessed. Some wish to stay with their homes or businesses, while others remain in an attempt to complete unfinished business.
The human body has a defensive shield, known as the countenance or aura, that provides protection from such invasions. This aura recedes under certain conditions. Excessive use of such substances as alcohol or drugs can lower this protection. Additionally, dark emotions such as anger, fear, worry, etc. can cause a compromise through which attachment may be achieved. Casual sexual activity, especially relations with those that have a history of many sexual partners, can also lead to attachment. During intimacy attached spirits seem to be able to move quite freely and effectively between hosts. Great physical trauma such as a car accident can leave a person open to invasion. Surgery involving anesthesia may also recede the aura sufficiently to allow earthbounds to attach. The Consequences and Symptoms of ESA Earthbounds cannot continue to pursue their addictions and passions without a physical body so attaching to, and controlling a living host becomes a priority. Once an attachment has been made, the entity merges fully or partially with the subconscious mind of the host. The parasitic spirit then begins to exert varying degrees of control over the processes of thought, behavior, emotions, and even the physical body. The host then begins to experience the thoughts, cravings, drives, and emotions of the attached entity, believing that they are their own. If the entity was addicted to drugs or alcohol in life, the host may begin to crave them as well. If prone to anger, fear, worry, contention, or any other negative behavior, the host is likely to follow. If the spirit died in a state of weakness, pain or disease, over time the host can develop those same pains, and ailments on a physical level.

Strong Reaction While Reading this Article Treating Earthbound Spirit Attachment Attachment can be treated through Earthbound Spirit Attachment Therapy or ESAT. The client relaxes in a recliner or on a massage table, and is placed in a mild to moderate state of deep relaxation. The therapist then explores for attachments through a series of questions. Once the attached spirits are identified, they are reasoned with, and persuaded to move on to the spirit world. Often disincarnates reunite with deceased family members who have been sent to escort them to the other side. ESAT should not be confused with exorcism. ESAT is a gentle and beautiful process that benefits not only the living, but also the lost attached soul. Complete attached spirit release can be accomplished in as little as two to three sessions, with a free follow up session to evaluate overall progress. To
